I suggest that the current lxlock script should be replaced by this: http://bug-attachment.xfce.org/attachment.cgi?id=5295 It does not have any specific dependency, but adds support for various screen savers and locker utilities one of which user may install and run according to his/her preference. Even if lxlock fails, when no such software is available, it is IMO better than to suggest, that lxlock works, when it does not.
