My gutsy system now takes several minutes to shutdown due to a LONG
delay at the “Deactivating swap" step. This also happens when running
“swapoff -a” manually: it takes several minutes of high disk and CPU
activity for the command to complete. top shows the amount of total
swap slowly decreasing during this period.
