Did you enable the logging of sensors (in the preferences the option "Enable sensors logging")?
Do you reproduce each the issue? (I did not reproduce it but I can only use Trusty in a VM). Could you please describe exactly the steps to reproduce? How are you changing the sensor color (click directly in the sensor list or using sensor preferences)?
