Is there any chance this (and https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source /pm-utils/+bug/1253456) might get fixed in the next months, e.g. for the next LTS release? I would have to downgrade to Ubuntu 12.04 otherwise (or maybe stick to Windows?).
