Public bug reported: xchat-gnome 1:0.30.0~git20131003.d20b8d-2ubuntu1 that just got uploaded to trusty has broken window scrolling behaviour.
When starting up, it automatically scrolls the window while loading all the scrollback text which makes it take forever to start. Once started, scrolling to the bottom of a channel with the mouse wheel, switching to a different channel, and coming back doesn't restore the channel to the bottom. This version is borderline unusable.
