It's in trunk and built in PPA, if you want to test it, follow these steps in a terminal:
sudo add-apt-repository ppa:ubuntu-unity/daily-build sudo apt-get update sudo apt-get install friends friends-app sudo rm -rf /etc/apt/sources.list.d/ubuntu-unity* sudo apt-get update killall friends-dispatcher friends-service friends-app friends-app And you should see the new toys.
