Public bug reported: Binary package hint: nautilus
This is a feature request. I have an external disk with several partitions. When I plug it in, the automounter mounts it with the partitions named disk, disk-1, etc. It appears that it is not consistent which one is named which, so it is very hard to find files consistently and easily. I would like to be able to rename the partitions in a stable way from Nautilus, the same way I can rename disks from the Finder on Mac OS X. The only solution I have found so far is finding command line tools specific to each filesystem type, which is not at all user-friendly. ** Affects: nautilus (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- Edit partition labels in Nautilus https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/133682 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is the bug contact for Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
