Public bug reported: I have PDF files created from Scribus with layers (for multilanguage document Images are the same, different languages are on their specific layers. I choose which language to get when exporting to PDF. The PDF produced also has layers, and only the activated layer is displayed. Combining such layered PDF with PDFTK does not work properly, The inactivated layers re-appear in the combined PDF. I get a superposition of the different languages in the result, which makes it unusable. (Ubuntu 13.10 - pdftk 2.01-1)
