Public bug reported: It appears that from kde 4.11.3 / kde 13.10 that maximised windows in KDE cannot be resized by dragging the borders - this has been possible in all previous versions of KDE and is very useful.
I've seen this thread https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=324011 and while I don't fully understand it, it look like the blame is being placed at the foot of the oxygen theme which should but doesn't support borders. There is a patch against this but it looks like the kde developers are refusing to import this into 4.11.x and are only willing to let it in kde 5. Could kubuntu accept this patch please? this is an incredibly annoying problem - enough so that we have several machines that will stay at 13.04 until this is fixed! (btw anyone know an easy way to revert a distro upgrade to reverse this one the test machine we put to 13.10?).
