Looks like the boot command only solves part of the problem. Touchpad is totally missing from "Mouse & Touchpad" settings in Unity and also it cannot be switched off with FN+F4. Seems also that it is not triggered off when typing so it is super sensitive to accidental triggering and thus typing is more difficult.
