Public bug reported: After installing the "kde" meta-package on a regular feisty install, the permissions of /home/{user}/.kde are set incorrectly. They were root:root with 700 and they are supposed to be {user}:{user} 766.
This resulted in a KDE crash in 'kstartupmanager' not being able to initialize (write) to .kde. ** Affects: Ubuntu Importance: Undecided Status: New -- [feisty] .kde permissions set incorrectly https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/133778 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is the bug contact for Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
