This issue only seems to be reproducible if you are on the Discreet hardware. If you are on the intel only gfx there is nolonger an issue.

However upon resume I get a checkerboard style page rather than the lightdm login page. If I disable the nvidia stuff from the optimus box and just have the intel gfx running suspend and resume work again.
