Looking at this generically, the expected behavior should be to pause any audio playback when a call comes in and when a call is active. When the call is ended (or ignored), the music should resume.
once the media-service is in place, all audio playback will be controlled from there. the media-service should listen to the appropriate dbus signals from ofono and pause/resume the music. until the media-service lands, the alternative would be for the music- app to listen for those signals and do the same thing. ** Also affects: telephony-service (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New ** Also affects: music-app Importance: Undecided Status: New ** Changed in: telephony-service (Ubuntu) Status: New => Confirmed ** Changed in: music-app Status: New => Confirmed ** Changed in: telephony-service (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided => Critical ** Changed in: pulseaudio (Ubuntu) Importance: Medium => Critical ** Summary changed: - Audio on phone is a mess when receiving calls + Audio does not pause when receiving call -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1258129 Title: Audio does not pause when receiving call To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/music-app/+bug/1258129/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
