Public bug reported:

Hello,

I am running a 14.04 xubuntu amd64 on a Lenovo Thinkpad T530. All .debs
are updated.

# uname -r -v
3.13.0-7-generic #26-Ubuntu SMP Wed Feb 5 21:28:03 UTC 2014

I want to run powertop in a xfce4-terminal.

>From dpkg -l | grep -i xfce-terminal, i know that installed is:
ii xfce4-terminal 0.6.3-1ubuntu1
 amd64 Xfce terminal emulator

I started powertop at the prompt of the command line in xfce4-terminal
as root with sudo. Then normally I would use the cursor/arrow left/right
keys to switch between the different tabs in powertop labeled
"Overview", "Idle stats", "Frequency stats", "Device stats" and
"Tuneables". However the cursor keys scroll the whole terminal window
and are not transmitted to powertop itself.

I already deactived all the menue access keys in xfce4-terminal's
settings. Please see the attached screenshot.

Thanks
