With Gutsy (the Ubuntu development branch), lastfm does not halt at "Connecting
to server..." for me anymore. Gutsy currently has lastfm 1.3.0.62-2 (Feisty has
1.1.90-4).
Please note, that this another bug itself and should get reported separately.
