update:
this doesn't happen when I plug in a usb mouse before suspend. I useto get
a beep about 5 min. after boot and then after resume "spurious irq 7 disabling
..." usb did not work after resume but does continue to work when I plug in a
usb mouse before suspend.
I think this is linked to a kernel bug I reported a long time ago, but
still yet to be fixed (low priority) due to being model specific (buggy
bios?).
this is annoying though.
also keyboard doesn't freeze actually ... just don't know the shortcut
keys.
