I agree! :)

** Summary changed:

- KNetworkManager Should support TKIP under WPA Enterprise
+ KNetworkManager Should Support "Key Type" Selection under WPA Enterprise

** Description changed:

- Binary package hint: knetworkmanager
-
- I can only connect to my campus' wireless network using nm-applet if I
- specify the "Key Type" as TKIP (not Auto to AES-CCMP).
+ I can only connect to my campus' wireless network by using nm-applet,
+ where I can specify the "Key Type" as TKIP (not Auto or AES-CCMP).

KNetworkManager provides no option to specify the encryption protocol
("Key Type"), so I'm stuck with the following algorithm:

  1. Quit KNetworkManager
  2. Run nm-applet
  3. Enter SSID, key, etc. by hand (nm-applet doesn't use KWallet)
  4. Kill nm-applet (nm-applet doesn't have a "Quit" option)
  5. Re-start KNetworkManger
+
+ So, can we have a drop-down box with choices of key update protocols
+ (e.g. TKIP, AES-CCMP, Dynamic WEP)?
