Public bug reported: Randomly, the trackpad will stop movingthe pointer around the screen reliably. It may freeze for a second, or several. Or it may repeatedly freeze and release a few times a second, making it jerk across the screen. Scrolling is affected the same way. I found a workaround that involves turning psmouse off and on again. That seems to work. Sometimes just for a few minutes, other times for a few days.
Second problem: The system clock disappeared from the 'taskbar' at the top. The clock settings in the system settings menu was grayed out. I found a procedure to turn that on and off again too. So far so good. The first problem might have happened a little bit under 13.04 as well, I'm not certain if the first time was before or after the upgrade to 13.10 Sorry I'm a noob. I'm not even sure if this is the right way to make a bug report.
