Public bug reported:

I have a text file with a line like "<link
href="http://cdn.tapquo.com/lungo/icon-57.png"; sizes="57x57" rel="apple-
touch-icon">"

When I select the text "http://cdn.tapquo.com/lungo/"; to copy Ubuntu
Gedit makes me fail. The titles of the windows disappear, the screen
flashes and buttons to close, minimize and maximize disappear.
