Few months ago I installed Ubuntu 13.10 and selected "automatic"
partition of hard drive. To my delight Ubuntu installer choosed *only
256 MB* for /boot partition.

Today during regular update /boot run out of space and update failed,
and this is only few months of working with Ubuntu with "default"
installation!

IMO this is serious defect.
