Public bug reported: Dear Release Team,
I would like to request a freeze exception for the following packages: golang-go-xdg golang-go-dbus These packages are not installed on an end users system but used for package building of other golang originated binaries used for Ubuntu Touch (golang bindings for the ubuntu download manager, goget-ubuntu- touch and usensord benefit from these). Neither of these packages exist on Ubuntu and would be synced from debian unstable, here are their packaging branches if further inspection is required: http://anonscm.debian.org/gitweb/?p=pkg-go/packages/golang-go-xdg.git;a=summary http://anonscm.debian.org/gitweb/?p=pkg-go/packages/golang-go-dbus.git;a=summary These packages are not and will not be seeded in any way. The impact to the distribution should be of very low risk. The method to bring them into ubuntu would be with a requestsync ** Affects: ubuntu Importance: Undecided Status: New -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1289308 Title: [FFe] Request to land go packages for continuing _touch_ development To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+bug/1289308/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
