It was rather one time event, and I have no idea how to reproduce it. But recently I experienced few cases of system instability (https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1284800; https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1284797 - maybe those bugs are connected somehow with this one). Perhaps this is rather hardware than software problem? I don't know.
