Public bug reported:

When starting Anki (version 1.2.9) for the first time in Precise, I am prompted
to click on Download to get started. Doing so
leads to a "deck" saying this version is no longer supported. (Trying to
download this "deck" leads to a dialog with the following error message:

Traceback (most recent call last):
  File "/usr/share/anki/ankiqt/ui/getshared.py", line 190, in accept
    self.curRow[R_ID])
TypeError: %d format: a number is required, not unicode
)

It seems one can still create and import decks, but downloading is a
dead end.

** Affects: anki (Ubuntu)

         Status: New
