Public bug reported: How to reproduce:
Open Apper, and click Updates. Then click on Check for new updates and wait for the process to finish. After that Apper will show that system is up to date, however, this is often not true. If you click back to get into the main menu and then again click on Updates, Apper will correctly show that there are indeed available updates.
