Hi Bernhard, Thanks for your effort to improve Xubuntu by reporting this observation! However, I suspect that it's a misconception...
The "en_US" label you see at the top bar of the login screen is the display language, which I see from the attached ProcEnviron.txt that you set to English. Actually it's a language chooser indicator, so if you click it you see a list of installed translations, and you have the option that way to control the display language of the session you are about to start. ** Package changed: lightdm (Ubuntu) => lightdm-gtk-greeter (Ubuntu) ** Changed in: lightdm-gtk-greeter (Ubuntu) Status: New => Invalid -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1295632 Title: Login-screen display wrong keyboard-layout To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/lightdm-gtk-greeter/+bug/1295632/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
