Public bug reported: [ FWIW, I set the package option above to elementary-icon-theme. ]
I installed this theme as I usually do, and when I went to select it there was a warning that the theme did not have an icon cache. I first followed the instructions to run 'gtk-update-icon-cache /usr/share/icons/elementary' however I got an error saying that the file existed. (I used sudo even though the instructions did not include that bit.) When I removed the file and re-ran the command I got an error saying "The generated cache was invalid." The theme seems to work in spite of this, but I wanted to mention it in case it's important. ** Affects: elementary-icon-theme (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New ** Package changed: exo (Ubuntu) => elementary-icon-theme (Ubuntu) -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1296167 Title: xubuntu 14.04 b1 - elementary-icon-theme cache file invalid To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/elementary-icon-theme/+bug/1296167/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
