Freetuxtv 0.6.5 does not work on Trusty, it doesn't play any channel. This major bug is corrected in the new 0.6.6 version: http://code.google.com/p/freetuxtv/issues/detail?id=183 please upgrade the paquet in the official Ubuntu depot.
