I have done a bit of investigation on which cooling devices correspond to 
different fan speeds. IMO the cooling device to trip point mappings are wrong 
(do not change fan speed linearly with accordance to temperature/trip points).
And I've also found that thermal zone 5 temperature corresponds exactly to the 
processor fan speed. This should definitely be reported as fan speed, not 
temperature.

Should I also detail my findings here, or post them to the kernel
mailing list?
