Greetings. If the application title is "Main Menu", the application you are running is actually "Alacarte". This application was replaced by MenuLibre for Xubuntu 14.04.
To verify, see if "Menu Editor" is listed in your Settings menu. When you open "Menu Editor", the title of the application will say "MenuLibre".
