Public bug reported: Since upgrading from Feisty to Gutsy I have had numerous problems with both sleep and hibernate. Sleep appears to work perfectly, but every time I resume my laptop gnome power manager insists that my laptop failed to sleep by popping up a warning bubble telling me to visit the quirks website. Hibernate however has totally ceased to function. If I tell the laptop to hibernate it starts going through the process the screen momentarily flicks to a text console and then immediately flicks back to X windows and gnome power manager (correctly) tells me hibernate failed. Both Sleep and hibernate worked flawlessly in previous Ubuntu versions.
