After updating 13.10 to 14.04beta my Samsung np900x3a, partitioned with GPT, 
with Ubuntu as only OS.
I have tried boot-repair but the system was still unbootable (here the log: 
http://paste.ubuntu.com/7174889). 
I got a bootloop of the bios splash. If I press <esc> I get a bios setup window 
(not grub) showing the "ubuntu" tag which, if selected, correctly boot Ubuntu 
14.04.
After several attempt to purge and reinstall manually grub the problem is still 
there.
dmesg confirms the system is booting in efi mode:
