Alberto, how is this invalid? I am still getting this error almost a month after the initial report. I hate doing an apt-get upgrade and getting a non-zero result. Why hasn't this package been reverted? Why is it still in the update/dependency list? The vague answer "It severely affects packages beyond the one that causes the flaw." is as uninformative as it is potentially harmful to those like me who would seek to eliminate this annoyance by installing the package anyway. What harm would that do to my system? First instinct is that my server doesn't have any usb devices, so give it a shot. But it is my RAID server!
We are on the final beta. Somebody is fudging schedules.
