Public bug reported: When installed the gnome-mahjongg package creates a desktop file at /usr/share/applications/mahjongg.desktop. That file contains the following line:
Exec=gnome-mahjongg Since that binary is in /usr/games, and most users do not have /usr/games in their path, clicking a menu item that uses that desktop file fails. The simple solution is to use the full path name in the Exec line. /usr/share/app-install/desktop/gnome-mahjongg:mahjongg.desktop which is installed by app-install-data has this same problem. ** Affects: gnome-mahjongg (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1303164 Title: Exec line in gnome-mahjongg .desktop file needs complete path To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/gnome-mahjongg/+bug/1303164/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
