To say it (SiS) is a crappy card is perhaps true, but just because it is
low end... if it is possible to make these things work by implementing
some work on the driver... well, the card is common in so many laptops
and boards with integrated graphics, a whole lot of people are missing
out on some nice stuff.  I am running Gutsy on my laptop, and it is a
dream so far, but I was really hoping to have some graphical flair at
some point like I have in my desktop.  I had been thinking it was an
actual hardware issue and the more I have dug around, it seems that the
driver for SiS doesn't support these features.
