Public bug reported: borderless windows was enabled in 14.04, but it looks like that was not enabled under metacity which ubiquity installer uses. This also fixes the "ugly one pixel white border" around the installer which all designers complained to me about.
To match the compiz/unity7 theme we should disable borders in metacity as well. ** Affects: ubuntu-themes Importance: Undecided Status: New ** Affects: ubuntu-themes (Ubuntu) Importance: High Assignee: Dimitri John Ledkov (xnox) Status: Confirmed ** Affects: ubuntu-themes (Ubuntu Trusty) Importance: High Assignee: Dimitri John Ledkov (xnox) Status: Confirmed ** Summary changed: - enable borderless windows under metacity (e.g. for ubiquity) + [UIFe] enable borderless windows under metacity (e.g. for ubiquity) ** Also affects: ubuntu-themes (Ubuntu Trusty) Importance: Undecided Status: New ** Changed in: ubuntu-themes (Ubuntu Trusty) Status: New => In Progress ** Changed in: ubuntu-themes (Ubuntu Trusty) Importance: Undecided => High ** Changed in: ubuntu-themes (Ubuntu Trusty) Status: In Progress => Confirmed ** Changed in: ubuntu-themes (Ubuntu Trusty) Assignee: (unassigned) => Dimitri John Ledkov (xnox) -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1304363 Title: [UIFe] enable borderless windows under metacity (e.g. for ubiquity) To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu-themes/+bug/1304363/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
