While "just" a useability issue, the flaw does make application titles
nearly impossible to read once they've been selected. It only leads one
to ask "what where they thinking", though I'm sure this is just the
consequence of some other seemingly innocuous decision elsewhere. My
system is running on a desktop with default themes as far as I'm aware,
and the issue is obvious each time I use Software Centre.

Even though you're locked down, I think you should fix this one. It
shouldn't be dangerous (though of course, nothing should), and it would
correct a flaw that will otherwise be highly visible.
