Public bug reported:
There seems to be a memory leak in mysql-proxy 0.8.1 on 12.04. We
recently added a lot of sql traffic to our web servers and since then
mysql-proxy consumes memory quickly and dies within a day. I've
upgraded it via source to 0.8.4 and since then the leak seems to have
stopped. Looking through the changelog there have been two memory leak
fixes since 0.8.1. I haven't tested on 14.04 yet but it looks like the
same version is installed there as well.
