Too late to get it in now - before release, since it's only hours away
and most or all ISOs have been tested and approved.

But, that doesn't mean it can't be uploaded later.  First, fix the
package. Then, make a SRU request for lmms.

The problem with the new package as I understand it is it doesn't have correct 
versioning. 
One way to solve it would be to patch the current package so that the 
experimental features disappear, and give the new package the version name 
1.0.0+bzr2569-0ubuntu2.
Don't know if it would be possible to entirely exchange the source full on, and 
just name that package 1.0.0. I suppose that would be the cleanest approach.

Later, when an improved version of lmms appears, once could add a
backport request for it.
