Michael, Actually, the issue is that your /etc/mythtv/config.xml didn't contain the correct information (it probably does now though). As you can see in this file
https://github.com/MythTV/packaging/blob/master/deb/debian/mythtv- database.config It looks for the correct information in that file and populates that automatically. As for your backend issue, I'd recommend opening another bug report and attaching your backend logs. ** Changed in: mythtv (Ubuntu) Status: New => Invalid -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1309732 Title: package mythtv-database 2:0.27.0+fixes.20140324.8ee257c-0ubuntu2 failed to install/upgrade: ErrorMessage: subprocess installed post- installation script returned error exit status 1 To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/mythtv/+bug/1309732/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
