Public bug reported:

When xscreensaver locks the session and a user attempts to start a new
session via the "New Login" button, the message "Could not execute
'gdmflexiserver'" is displayed.

This has only started to occur since upgrade from Saucy to Trusty and
has occurred on two machines. The one on which I'm reporting this error
on (a laptop running Ubuntu Studio upgraded from Saucy to Trusty) and a
second (a desktop running Lubuntu, also upgraded from Saucy to Trusty)
