well, it's now April 19, 2014 and I just decided to try Midori after a long hiatus. I imported my bookmarks from Firefox and in the bookmarks panel, they are sorted in reverse order. Oddly, if you click the 'New folder' button and then the pulldown in the resulting popup (to choose a folder in which to place the new folder), the list of folders is sorted correctly.
