Public bug reported: Hello,
unrtf throws a coredump on some rtfs. Ubuntu-Release: Ubuntu 14.04 LTS Package: unrtf 0.21.5-1 (amd64) I attach a test.rtf to reproduce the bug and a patch that fixes this bug. But: this is just a PoC fix! It checks if the result of word_string is not null before the data is accessed (in the \\author section). Since word_string is used many more times in convert.c, every result should be checked. ** Affects: unrtf (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New ** Patch added: "patch.txt" https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1310786/+attachment/4091684/+files/patch.txt -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1310786 Title: unrtf throws a coredump on some rtfs To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/unrtf/+bug/1310786/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
