I'm seeing this issue on a fresh 14.04 install. However, unlike 13.10,
using "nomodeset" and the generic SVGA X drivers seem to work enough to
start the display at its native resolution.

As you can see, the Intel driver isn't being loaded at all on my
ux302lg:

I'm going to attempt to install the intel-drm-next kernel, and will
report back once I've done so.
