Public bug reported:

I upgraded to Trusty (fresh install) and since then mercurial gives this
error when trying to connect to the remote server:

$ hg clone https://hg.ce.utwente.nl/TERRA
abort: error: _ssl.c:510: error:1408F10B:SSL routines:SSL3_GET_RECORD:wrong
version number

When I boot from my old partition containing Saucy, everything works ok
again.

$ apt-cache policy mercurial
mercurial:
  Installed: 2.8.2-1ubuntu1
  Candidate: 2.8.2-1ubuntu1
  Version table:
 *** 2.8.2-1ubuntu1 0

$ lsb_release -r
Release:        14.04
