It may be possible to make the driver work with this reader. I am not sure how to come back from the state "An ICC is present and inactive". Without such a reader at hand it will be hard to debug the driver. Maybe you can offer me a "Hewlett-Packard HP EliteBook Folio 1040 G1"? :-)
