Well, although this was completely true at the time. I rebooted again (using the default 3.5.0-49-generic kernel) and the Sabrent USB-G1000 network card is functioning again.
I'm not sure what went wrong, but after upgrading to 3.5.0-49-generic (and rebooting) the Sabrent USB-G1000 seemed dead (having no light indicators on, while being securely plugged in as always). However, after booting with a previous kernel and then again booting once more with 3.5.0-49-generic, its now working. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1312853 Title: 3.5.0-49-generic made Sabrent USB-G1000 network card nonfunctional To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/linux-lts-quantal/+bug/1312853/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
