@Norbert : "prt sc" does not produce a screenshot, although, <alt>+prt
sc produces a screenshot of the currently active window.

also, not that the behaviour of prt sc in Ubuntu Precise 12.04LTS on
the same computer is as expected, ie, to take a screenshot.
