Hi,
I use an xp guest on virtualbox with burning programs, since I upgraded
to 14.04, operations like erasing or burning are not possible anymore,
no matter what software I use.
It it seems to be an upgrade, I checked the virtualbox settings and upgraded
guest addons, but it does not help.
After initiating burning, the drive is trying to do something, but nothing
happens, the vm freezes.
Passthrough is still working at ubuntu 12.04 with current upgrades
(virtualbox 4.1.12).

I checked the virtualbox version from virtualbox.org, same problem here.
At the virtualbox log, I found passthrough errors:

ASC=0x21 ASCQ=0x0 VERR_DEV_IO_ERROR
