That's the only one I found back then.  The suffix was .old, but I
changed it when I copied it to my home folder. So, sorry if it's not
helpful at all.

Another thing I found, though, is that the "dpkg-reconfigure -phigh
xserver-xorg" command doesn't work as expected ---i.e., back in Feisty,
I had similar problems, but I could solve them by running that command
and reconfiguring the x-server.  In Gutsy, the command just replaces the
xorg.conf with whatever it finds, instead of allowing me to select the
right card and screen resolutions.
