We now have a branch in case this really is needed. It's a small change since Session Inits already support multiple --confdirs.
Note that the whole point of adding the --confdir option originally was to circumvent the standard /etc/init/ directory, specifically for testing. What this means is that with the new branch, if you want Upstart to read jobs from /etc/init/ and /custom/init/ say, you will have to specify *both* directories on the kernel command-line via the bootloader: --confdir /etc/init/ --confdir /custom/init/ -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1315060 Title: Allow --confdir to look for system jobs in more than one directory To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/savilerow/+bug/1315060/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
